Opening Reception for Sa Sa e Exhibit

The National Japanese American Historical Society, Inc. (NJAHS) is proud to present its newest exhibition, Sasae | Objects of Memory. We invite our Japantown friends and general public to join us for our Opening Reception on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 2-4pm at the NJAHS Peace Gallery to celebrate Sasae | Objects of Memory.

Paying special tribute to the friends and family of internees of the Bay Area (including Placer County, Salinas, and San Francisco), the NJAHS is featuring a myriad of arts and crafts from the Japanese American internment camp experience during WWII. Objects from Tule Lake, Heart Mountain, and Manzanar will be on view in the NJAHS Peace Gallery in the heart of Japantown in San Francisco through July 30, 2010.
