Scheduled to open in the NJAHS Peace Gallery at 1684 Post St. in San Francisco Japantown on January 10, 2009 and running through June 30, 2009, this new exhibit and public program series will serve as a celebration of the current richness and diversity of manga and anime as an expression of Nikkei culture in the Diaspora.

Audra and Scott In conjunction with "The Many Faces of Manga," there will be a reception honoring Hawaiian comic artists Audra Furuichi and Scott Yoshinaga (creators of "nemu*nemu") and Deb Aoki (creator of the "Bento Box" comic in the Honolulu Advertiser) at 7pm on May 21, 2009 in the NJAHS Gallery and Gift Shop.
