NJAHS Peace Gallery
1684 Post Street, SF JAPANTOWN
Continuing NJAHS’ Workshop Series on JA Genealogy, Part Two Series, we’ve invited Genealogist Linda Harms-Okazaki of the California Genealogical Society to offer some helpful hints that will guide you to locating your family’s Japanese registry (Koseki). This workshop is for participants familiar with their Japanese heritage, who have some knowledge of their lineage, ancestor’s prefecture, and of a family koseki. It is also for individuals who are planning or interested in going to Japan to request their family koseki. To make the most use of your time during the workshop, we ask that you pre-register on EventBrite and complete a questionnaire so that we can best meet your needs. For more information: 415-921-5007.
The workshop is FREE, but space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
