Poetry, memoir and performance by survivors and their ancestors, including Brain Koemi Dempster, Florence Ohmura Dobashi, Sato Hashizume, Barbara Hariuchi, Kazuko Iwahashi, Janice Mirikitani, Jon Osaki, Bryan Saito, Toru Saito, Summer Seiki, Harumi Serata, and Michi Tashiro.

Thursday, Oct. 5, 5:30pm-7:30pm – Mclaren 250. Join USF law professor Bill Ong Hing, with Dean Ito Taylor, Executive Director of API Legal Outreach, and Korematsu legal team members Karen Kai and Robert Rusky as they discuss the legal, social and historical precedent of Executive Order 9066, which authorized the mass imprisonment of Japanese Americans during WWII. Speakers will link the Executive Order to current immigration issues.
